Role Purpose

Leads and provides over-all direction for the local and international subsidiaries, as applicable, in the design, development, and delivery of HR programs and policies under the following functions: Compensation Planning, Long-Term Incentive Design and Planning, Benefits Planning, Expatriation and Repatriation Programs, Manpower Cost Planning and Management. 

Job Description

Competitive compensation and benefit plans, and strategic planning
Provides strategic direction and in-depth technical expertise through coordination, implementation and delivery of competitive compensation and benefit programs that attract, motivate and retain top talent; Drives core Total Rewards processes including salary benchmarking and/or market scan; Ensures that design and implementation of Health, Retirement, Life Insurance, and Company-provided Benefits reasonably competitive, aligned with parameters mentioned in the concession agreement, and compliant standards set by government agencies; Ensures that design and implementation of Basic Pay and Variable Pay Programs are reasonably competitive, aligned with parameters mentioned in the concession agreement, and compliant standards set by regulatory bodies; Manages administration and approval of applicable processes related to compensation and benefits; Maintains a working knowledge of labor code/law that affects compensation and benefit plans; Provides practical and legal benefits and compensation knowledge and best practices expertise to HR and management team

Incentives and Rewards programs
Drives company-wide total rewards strategy that supports the company’s business and talent acquisition strategies to attract a highly diverse, multi-skilled workforce; Analyzes and administers compensation and benefit programs including the merit pay increase program, job evaluation, and incentive plans; Ensures that all Compensation & Benefits programs align to company values and drives the desired employment experience; Provide ongoing and ad-hoc analysis relating to compensation and other people-related metrics

Effective Salary Structure Management and manpower costs management
Leads the planning and monitoring of manpower budget relative to compensation and benefits functions; Monitors the cost structure of compensation and benefits to ensure they are in alignment with company financial expectations and targets; Reviews the Job Offer analysis and provides insights/inputs as deemed applicable; Conducts annual pay and benefit reviews and business cases related to Human Resource Function; Works closely with Finance leaders to ensure effective decision-making and sound finances are in place for all Compensation and Benefits elements, inclusive of bonus and equity programs

Talent Mobility Implementation
Oversees the design and delivery Expatriation and Repatriation Program of Manila Water Phil. Ventures and its subsidiaries; Ensure plans are mobility plans are competitive, cost effective, drive a high-performance culture and are aligned with current and future strategic direction

Employee Promotion and other Recognition Programs
Leads the planning, design and implementation of Employee Recognition Programs: Chairman’s Circle (C2), President’s Pride in Performance (P3), Huwarang Manggagawa (HM); Leads and manages overall employee promotion activities with other HR constituents
