Strategic Planning Manager - Non-East Zone

Role Purpose

Ensures the efficient and effective execution of Corporate Planning Systems and Processes, including corporate performance monitoring and control against strategic objectives of the company, its operating groups and subsidiaries. 

Identifies and conducts researches on economic and business indicators, potential new business, and growth opportunities that will aid management decision-making. 

Job Description

Business Planning: Manages the operational planning process of MWPV and MWAP; Timely Consolidation of Group TMS to the Corporate Strategy Department
•    Facilitates Tactical and Execution planning and Leadership Team meetings including prioritization and finalization of agenda;
•    Contributes to strategy-related projects within own business and across the group; 

Performance Monitoring: Administers the organization performance measurement processes; HQ and subsidiaries performance monitoring
•    Facilitate the quarterly KRA reviews of the group to periodically monitor and review their achievement of targets;
•    Monitors the progress and execution of Corporate Planning Systems and Processes (PVAP ManCom Strategic Planning, Tactical and Execution Planning, Total Management System or TMS (Corporate and Group-Level KRA setting, monitoring and control);

Technical Research: Conducts researches, analyzes and disseminates information to the team on customer needs, industry trends, local and international competitive threats, market threats and expansion opportunities.
•    Keeps the team abreast of movements in the local and international water scene through research of publicly available sources (newsfeeds, databases, annual reports, etc.);
•    Provides Market and Industry Research and Analysis Reports, and other activities that enhance strategic awareness among managers throughout the organization;

Risk Management: Provides risk management support services to the group’s strategies, initiatives and processes and oversight on ERM Process; Consolidation and timely submission of group risk management reports
•    Facilitate the identification of top group risk;
•    Ensure the compliance of the group to ERM requirements in coordination with the Department ERM Champions;

Project Management
•    Facilitates and assists large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives; works as a team leader, project manager, and strong individual contributor across the company
•    Performs other related functions inherent in team operation, acts as corporate resource and performs other tasks assigned by higher management
