Role Purpose

Responsible and accountable for ensuring the accuracy and completeness, and accessibility of asset information and management systems of the Business Unit that the end users may be able use it as reference in planning and day to day operational activities. 

Job Description

Accurate and up to date GIS

  • Accurate and timely uploading of as-built files in the GIS database (water and used water network and facilities)
  • Validation and updating of GIS database  

o    BA/NIP works
o    Boundary information (political, BZ, DMZ, DMA and MRU)
o    KRA maps
o    WSC information
o    Network and facilities information

  • Satellite imagery editing and feature extraction 
  • Asset inventory
  • Conduct random, on-site validation of submitted as-built plans for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensures that the water meter mapping, service pipe digitization and building/appurtenance tagging projects are being implemented in accordance to organization’s standards
  • Review of satellite imagery/topographic maps acquisition projects
  • Monitoring of service provider’s GPS survey compliance for project, BA and NIP works

Availability of Asset Applications 

  • Apps development for field, office and ground survey use
  • Manages the project dashboard using Geoviewer and/or ArcGIS online
  • Develops and maintains NIP-GIS Application used by the contractors

Availability of Project Close Out Folders

  • Manages all project close-out documents including as-built plans and storing them accordingly
  • Collation and safekeeping of BA/NIP as-built plans 
  • Digitization and maintenance of records inventory 

Asset Condition Report

  • Prepare maps, data and other information for ACR submissions
  • Review of asset registers
  • Conducts on-site audit to check on the current condition of networks and appurtenances as well as major and minor facilities

Asset Management Plan

  • Conducts in-depth research and analysis on LWC’s facilities in preparing AMP
  • Does on-site inspection on business unit’s major facilities

Delivering requests within turn-around time

  • Provides GIS technical services such as requests for maps, as-builts information and other GIS related
  • Act as support across TS department
 

Education

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Geodetic Engineering
Bachelors Degree in Geology
