Project Management Manager - Tagum Water

Role Purpose

Responsible in managing multiple, complex, and strategic projects that span the group’s value chain of opportunities for businesses being developed across several areas and different clients or partners. 

Job Description

Water, Wastewater, and Septage masterplan (Due Diligence, Rehabilitation Plan and Design, CAPEX and OPEX Plan, BOQ/BOM, Concept and Detailed Designs, and Costing)
•    Work closely with Business Development Managers and Technical Support Managers to assess and evaluate the client/s needs or requirements including the identification and development of viable technical offerings, solutions, and options of deliveries.

•    Organize a team of technical specialists to conduct due diligence activities, feasibility studies and related technical studies necessary in developing Project/Program Implementation Plan including Capital and Operational Expenditure Programs.

•    Work effectively with internal and external clients, technical specialists, third party vendors, contractors and consultants, and senior management in delivering the requisite and appropriate project/program based on the group’s business goals.

Preparation of Technical Eligibility Requirements
•    Translate contracts’ requirements and scopes into concrete technical program and/or project components necessary in the development and/or preparation and submission of bids and proposals.

•    Oversee vendor relations and procurement related to the development of all projects in the delineated area/s of responsibility.
o    Provide a short list of potential partner contractors that will qualify for the technical eligibility requirements.
o    Arrange, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with identified/short-listed potential partner contractors’ authorized representatives.
o    Prepare a short list of possible engagement (e.g. joint venture, consortium, partnership company) between MWPV and potential partner contractor/s that will enable MWPV to pass the eligibility requirements.

•    Review the technical eligibility requirements of the Business Units.

•    Determine the Business Units’ eligibility to prequalify for a bid.

•    Assist in the preparation of eligibility documents

•    Provide technical support in the project bidding
o    Due diligence
o    Engineering design review
o    Projected CAPEX/OPEX estimate review
o    BOQ and cost submission check and review
