Operations Operator - WS/WW/WS and WW

Role Purpose

Responsible for hands-on operations and maintenance of water supply and/or used water facilities through implementation and monitoring of day-to-day activities and tasks to ensure efficient and reliable operations and compliance to regulatory and environmental standards

Job Description

Compliance to Regulatory and Environmental Standards
•    Implemented Process Monitoring Procedures
•    On-time implementation of sampling and troubleshooting activities 

•    Conducts daily onsite sampling and/or analysis of different process parameters such as residual chlorine, turbidity, pH, dissolved oxygen, SV30, etc.
•    Performs necessary actions to resolve process upsets and troubleshooting requirements

Efficient Facility Operations
•    Implemented Standard Operating Procedures
•    Documented records of operational data
•    Updated monitoring system of inventories and consumables

•    Records all operational data including e.g. production, tank levels, flow, power, chemicals, pressure
•    Monitors and controls operations thru SCADA
•    Records inventory of consumables such as chemicals, fuel, spare parts, etc.

Operations Reliability and Facility Uptime
•    Timely implementation of maintenance activities
•    Documented records of incidents and breakdowns
•    Regular implementation of facility upkeep
•    Availability during on-call and emergencies

•    Conducts first call maintenance and minor reactive works for water and/or used water equipment and appurtenances.
•    Performs inspection of facilities to check for defects, etc.
•    Records and reports operational incidents and/or equipment breakdown
•    Performs daily facility upkeep such as 5S, beautification facilities, grass cutting among others
•    Attends, monitors and review performance of service providers/contractors in relation to contract implementation such as tank cleaning, tank painting, emergency repair, etc.

•    Zero loss time incident
•    Adherence to Health and Safety Standards 

•    Complies with the health and safety procedures and practices to achieve zero work related accidents and improve the Company's health and safety image and performance
