Role Purpose
Leads the design, implementation, management, and enhancement of company-wide employee engagement strategies, initiatives, policies, programs, and processes aligned to the People priorities for the year ; Responsible for driving programs and initiatives, in partnership with the HRBPs and Line Managers, that focus on strengthening organizational culture, sustaining employee wellness, and making Manila Water a Great Place to Work
Job Description
Employee Engagement Strategy: Annual Employee Engagement Priorities, Annual Calendar of Activities
Develops and conducts Employees Surveys/ FGDs to understand employee pulse and engagement gaps for appropriate analysis and action planning.; Designs and implements employee engagement strategies, programs, events, and activities that help build and strengthen company culture & pride, sustain employee wellness, and make Manila Water a Great Place to Work as aligned to the People Priorities for the year (e.g. Trick or Treat, Total Wellness, Interest Clubs, Employee Perks, Volunteerism, mini-celebrations such as Father’s Day/ Mother’s Day, Retirees Prep-up & Send-off Celebration, among others.); Provides guidance and consultative support to HR Business partners and Line Managers in identifying and addressing engagement gaps for their respective Groups
Employee Pulse Data Gathering & Analysis: Timely Implementation & Management of FGDs or Surveys, Survey Results and Analysis
Per-Group & Company-wide Engagement Action Plans
Tracks and reports completion status of the survey during the covered period; Creates reports on the results and analysis of the survey to be shared to the stakeholders; Facilitates Action Planning workshops with the HR BPs and target audience to address identified engagement gaps ; Leads the implementation and governance of company-wide engagement initiatives resulting from the action planning
EE Program Design, Implementation, and Management: Event or Program Plan & Implementation, Engagement Intervention Proposals
Spearheads the implementation of Corporate Recognition Programs (in partnership with Total Rewards), Year-end General Assembly, Anniversary Celebration according to approved budget and timelines, Manages the training and other needs of company athletes representing Manila Water in relation to preparing for the Ayala Sporting events, Conducts research on the latest HR trends and studies on org climate & employee engagement; Assesses their applicability and feasibility when implemented in Manila Water, Acts as the Manila Water representative to stakeholders (e.g. Ayala Group of Companies, MWSS) for coordination, preparation, and implementation of joint engagement & sports activities such as Ayala Engage, Ayala Olympics, JAZA Cup, and Carriedo Cup etc , Identifies and tracks the success measures of engagement initiatives, programs, & events to assess effectiveness
Communications: Design & release of communication materials
Creates and sends communication materials related to cascading events invites, employee perks, and other engagement programs, in partnership with CorpComm and the HR Initiatives and Communications Manager
Budget Management: Annual ManCost Budget Plan for Engagement Activities, EE Budget Reforecast, EE Budget Utilization
Builds and tracks the usage of the annual Engagement ManCost Budget ensuring programs and activities are within approved cost , Ensures that Groups spend their EE fund according to the EE Fund Policy and within the approved amount for the year
